About This Campaign
Jamaica has been devastated by Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Category 5 storm that brought widespread flooding, destruction, and displacement across the island.
According to international reports (Reuters, The Guardian), more than 1.5 million people have been affected — with many families losing their homes, livelihoods, and access to clean water.
From The Netherlands, Jamaica Cuts and Recordo Bauld have launched this campaign to deliver real relief and long-term rebuilding support to the people of Jamaica.
Our barbershop is more than just a place for style and culture — it’s now also a community collection point where we gather supplies, donations, and essentials to send back home to (Jamaica), we’re organizing direct support shipments through the UK, where transport routes remain open and reliable.
