Autistic Haus is an innovative charity creating accessible, supported homes specifically for autistic adults, on evidence-based design principles.

Independently supplementing national support framework and providing a world-first housing model designed to optimise support delivery and outcomes for autistic adults.

Our board is majority autistic, comprising those with complex presentations and co-occurring conditions, as well as parents and carers. Our founder thought that support needs would be met once appropriate NDIS plans were approved but discovered that not for love or money is there up to date, innovative and reliable support for many autistic people, and yet more are locked out completely.

The Autistic Haus model turns these gaps into opportunities for community resilience, supplementing NDIS and DSP and saving costs for all concerned through scaled independent basic supports. For more information see our website resources autistic-haus.org.au .
