Build a well for the children of Munzenze, Rwanda

In January 2023 I was privileged to visit Rwanda as part of my graduate work with Liberty University. The people I met and the places we visited touched my heart in ways I did not expect. God has given me a love for this country and its people (especially the children), and a desire to help provide for them in the area of having access to clean water. Many people in Rwanda do not have the blessing of clean water, something we here in the United States take for granted so easily. While I was there, often I saw people walking down the road with their yellow water jugs as they sought water. Some get their water from creeks or rivers, while others will spend a large portion of their day walking to find a well with clean water.

The village of Munzenze in Rwanda has over 1,200 children in its ECD (early childhood development/preschool) center. My goal is to raise enough funds to provide a well for the Munzenze ECD and give them easy access to clean water for better health, growth, and development. The cost of this is $4,300 (USD) and covers both labor and materials. All funds raised in this fundraiser will go directly to this project. I will collect all donations and then send them to my contact in Rwanda who is organizing this project there. His name is Munyabarenzi Ezachiel and he does mission work to help the people of his country. I had the privilege to meet him on my trip last year as he is a key contact person for Liberty University in their visits to Rwanda. I know he is a man of God and trustworthy.
