Help Us Make a Difference at Dambulu School, Mavea Island, Vanuatu

Jamie and I have had a special connection with Dambulu School on Mavea Island ever since we arrived in Vanuatu almost five years ago.

Mavea is a small island with a little primary school that provides an incredibly important opportunity for local children to access education without having to leave their island and families.

With fewer than 50 students, it’s a small school, but it plays a huge role in the community.

Currently, the school has just one old drop toilet to service all the students and teachers. We believe these children and their teachers deserve better.

❤️ So, we’ve started building a new toilet block!

The new amenities block will include separate toilets for girls and boys, a toilet for teachers, a shower, and a handwashing sink.

This project will provide the school with clean, more hygienic facilities and a much better environment for the children and staff who spend their days there.

We’re reaching out to our friends, family and wider community to help us bring this project to completion. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us provide these children with facilities that many of us take for granted

If you’re able to contribute, we would be incredibly grateful. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much.

Together, we can make a real and lasting difference to this little school and its community on Mavea Island.
