Build a playground for the youth.

Hi, my name is Samarbir Singh and I am a Boy Scout for troop 3034 working towards my Eagle rank. One of the requirements for this rank is to do a service project for the community. I decided that I wanted to choose something that has both impacted my personal life and make memories for children at my Gurudwara (place of worship). With a lot of research I decided it would be best to build a playground for the kids at the Gurudwara. I believe this will enrich their participation in religion and help them build their own community to develop in. The funds will be used to order the playground set which me and other volunteers will build, mulch to ensure that the children are safe, and a border to contain the mulch and provide more stability for the playground. Any extra funds will be donated to the Gurudwara for the future when the playground needs to be re-mulched which Scouts will again volunteer to help with. Thank you for taking time to read this.
