Help Jarai Youth Build a Cultural Studio — Before Our Songs Disappear Forever
Imagine an entire culture — its songs, stories, and language — fading away because no one can record them. That’s what’s happening to the Jarai people of Cambodia right now.
The Jarai Youth RTK Group is fighting to save our heritage. We are young volunteers from Plor Village, Ratanakiri Province, using music and storytelling to keep our traditions alive. Since 2020, we’ve produced over 650 videos of Jarai songs, folktales, and daily life, reaching 21,000+ subscribers on YouTube.
But we face a heartbreaking challenge — without a proper studio, we can’t record high-quality music, interview elders, or teach the next generation. Much of our culture could disappear forever.
Our Goal: $3,000
With your help, we will build our first Jarai Cultural Studio — a small but powerful space with the tools we need to:
- Record and archive Jarai music, stories, and traditions
- Train youth in media production and cultural storytelling
- Share our heritage with the world
Your donation will directly fund equipment like microphones, audio interfaces, studio monitors, and a computer for editing.
Why Your Help Matters
Every song recorded is a piece of history saved.
Every video produced is a cultural treasure for future generations.
Even $10 or $20 can make a huge difference in helping us protect our identity.
This is more than a studio — it’s our voice, our pride, and our legacy.
Please donate today and be part of preserving the Jarai heritage forever. Every share and contribution brings us closer to our goal.
Thank you for your support!
