In Memory of Our Beloved Mohammed Ismail Alum ️
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
With profound sadness, we share the devastating loss of our beloved son, grandson and nephew, Mohammed Ismail Alum, aged just 16.
Ismail tragically passed away after being involved in a hit-and-run incident on the Friday 28th August 2026 while returning home from Fajr Salah. He was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind a family and community heartbroken by his loss.
Ismail was a truly remarkable young man. He had just completed his GCSEs, achieving all 9s, a reflection of his dedication, intelligence and hard work. Alongside his academic achievements, Ismail had also completed his Hifdh of the Qur’an and received his Ijazah — a tremendous blessing and achievement at such a young age. He studied at Darul Uloom.
Above all, Ismail will be remembered for the person he was. He had the kindest heart, was incredibly gentle, caring and humble, and always treated those around him with kindness and respect. His beautiful character touched the hearts of so many, and his presence brought warmth and happiness to everyone who knew him.
In his memory, we are raising funds towards the building of a mosque/madrasah with purchase of land, so that it may become a place where people pray, learn the Qur’an, remember Allah and worship Him for generations to come.
We humbly ask you to contribute whatever you are able to, no matter how small. Every donation can become a Sadaqah Jariyah in Ismail’s name — an ongoing charity whose reward, by the mercy of Allah, continues even after his passing.
Please donate and share this fundraising page with your family, friends and wider community. Your contribution could help build a house of Allah in memory of a young boy who dedicated so much of his life to the Qur’an and Salah.
May Allah ﷻ accept this charity on behalf of Mohammed, grant him the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaus, make the Qur’an a light and companion for him in his grave, and reunite him with his loved ones in Jannah.
May Allah grant his parents, grandparents, family and friends Sabr Jameel and give them strength through this unimaginable loss.
Please remember Ismail in your duas.
A heartfelt thank you to all his teachers at Darul Ulom, his friends, the community and our family - for everything everyone has done during for us during this testing time.
جزاكم الله خيرًا
May Allah reward you all abundantly.
