My name is, Ken , and I am not one to ask for help!

Barbie & I have been married for 42 years.

In the summer of 2022, Barbie was diagnosed with blood cancer, ALL Leukemia. She received treatments all that summer and in November 2022, Barbie received a bone marrow transplant at OHSU in Portland, OR. We had to stay at the hospital for 100 days after for her follow-up care.

During that time her brother passed and her mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Barbie's mom passed in May 2023.

Since 2020 I personally have suffered 4 strokes.

Niether Barbie nor I can work, so we have no income.

I brought Barbie home on February 7, 2023, @ 1 pm and at midnight Barbie's home caught fire and burned to the ground. We built the home together 34 years ago. We lost everything.

At this point, 2024, Barbie is in remission, but now is battling Graph VS Host desease. Which is the bone marrow donors blood white blood cells are attacking Barbs bodily organs. Not a easy thing to deal with daily and she is diognosed as being cronic with GVHD.

With the increased costs and insufficient insurance funds, there is not a sufficient amount of funds to build Barbie a new home for her final days. I have taken on the task to mill the lumber for the house and build a home for Barbie. I started milling the entire summer of 2024 from donated logs. The summer of 2025 I, at the age of 66, started to build Barbie's new home. I am making everthing that I am able to. We still need all the things I am not able to fabricate.

This is hard for me!

I am asking for help with a "Go Fund Me", so I can provide Barbie with a home to live out the days remaining!
