Build A Girl UK Summer 2025 Programme

We have almost reached our goal of £1,500 in less than 4 days! I am increasing the target to £2,000 so that we can take the girls on more trips and make the family day special.

My name is Lesley and I am raising money for the Build A Girl UK 2025 Summer Programme.

Build A Girl UK is based in Bradford, is led by Fiona Broadfoot, and works with girls vulnerable to exploitation.

Our girls range in age from 10 to 18. We work with them in separate age groups (10-13 and 14-18).

We want them to have a good Summer of activities and to take them on trips.

We will take the younger girls on a train trip to London to see a show and to go sightseeing

Other local trips for both groups will include horseriding, museum and gallery visits.

In previous years they enjoyed lkley Lido and going to the seaside. We will do them again.

We try to involve their parents so we will have a family day including a picnic.

There will also be a celebration of the successes of two girls who have been with us for many years. One has completed a degree in Art and is going on to do teacher training. Another has been awarded "Student of the Year" in her manual trades course!
