Build a conservation centre for the Talarak Foundation
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Ludo and me and my boyfriend (Al) will be running 10KM at the Bath and Bristol Railway race dressed as a pigs to raise funds for the Talarak foundation.
The funds raised will be used to help build a conservation campus for an endangered species (Mindoro Warty Pigs) in the Philippines.

On behalf of Caukin and with the help of Foundation University, I will be aiding the Talarak foundation to design and build a conservation campus for the Mindoro Warty Pigs in June this year. The Conservation Campus emerges as a response to the urgency of species conservation, sustainable habitat creation, and community involvement.
Using architecture focused on biosecurity, resilience and cultural engagement, it targets the threats of habitat loss, hunting and African Swine Flu to the endangered Mindoro Warty Pig.
The conservation campus will include breeding facilities which will fight against the decline of the species’ population. In the future, the campus aims to serve as a cultural and education hub, offering spaces for workshops, communal gardens, and experimental learning programs.

Find out more about the Mindoro Warty Pigs
Mindoro warty pig or Oliver's Warty Pig is a small species which can only be found on the island of Mindoro in the central Philippines. The species was formerly common and widespread across the island, but habitat loss and hunting have caused populations to decline. The Mindoro warty pig is an enigmatic species. No whole specimens have ever been scientifically studied, and few live animals have ever been photographed.
