In Loving Memory of My Father, Dr. Fateh Srajeldin: A Legacy of Giving

It’s hard to put into words the kind of man my father was. He was kind beyond measure, intelligent beyond words, and giving beyond his means. He gave even when he couldn’t. He lifted others higher, always putting their needs before his own.

As a naturopath, he was more than a healer he was a lifeline. He, risked everything for patients, crossing oceans to learn about the latest treatments, pushing past the limits of what his role demanded, simply because he cared. His dedication to others was unmatched.

He was not only my best friend but a man of deep faith, a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and an irreplaceable part of every person and community he touched. His sudden passing has left a void that words can’t fill. So many lives were better because of him and so many hearts are heavier now that he’s gone.

One thing my father always believed in was giving back. When his parents passed, he donated to multiple charities and even built a well in their name so that their memory would nourish others, quite literally. That act of service reflected who he was.

Now, I want to honor his legacy in the same way but I want to do even more.

I am raising $5,000 to build a community well in an underdeveloped country in my father's name - something that will serve as a symbol of his giving spirit, his selflessness, and his lifelong mission to help others. This well will bring clean, life-sustaining water to a community in need, creating a lasting impact where it’s needed most.

Since his passing, many people, including patients, friends, and community members, have asked if there’s a charity they can donate to in his name. This well is a way to honor those wishes and ensure that his legacy of healing and generosity continues.

In our faith, we believe that acts of charity done in someone’s name continue to benefit them even after they’ve passed. I hope this well will be a source of ongoing blessings for him

️ All proceeds will go directly to charity. If we are blessed to raise more than the goal, the additional funds will be used to support other charitable projects in his name, including, God willing, building additional wells or contributing to causes he deeply cared about.

Once the well is completed, I will share a photo of it with his name displayed, so that everyone who contributed can see the lasting impact of your generosity and his memory.
