Build a Community Center in Ypsilanti

The  General Defense Committee (GDC) Washtenaw Local 12 along with other radical community and anti-capitalist organizations have committed themselves to open and convert an old restaurant on Ecorse Rd. to a multi-purpose, anti-capitalist, Community Center and Union Hall. This is a pro-black, pro-brown, pro- women, pro-immigrant and pro-LGBTQ and anti-fascist space. 

- What will you use the Union hall/Community Center for?:

        The real question is what will WE use the Union Hall/Community Center for.  Union meetings, summits and trainings, self defense,  after school programs, tool shares, child care, hack-labs, benefit concerts, wobbly Breakfasts and so much more.  Anything that fosters strong community involvement and projects to defend  and promote the world we want to see. 
 
We are asking for your help both donated money and labor to help further this project. with your help and solidarity we can make this happen.  And when you all are ready to do the same, we will be there for you!
