Buddha Maitreya: Feeding the Needy

Look, Our humanity has always been wrapped up in other people’s humanity. That has always been true. It is just more evident now. Something like a pandemic makes it clear that for a society to be healthy, we need to attend to the health needs of everyone. People are terrified. They are wondering, “Am I going to catch this? Am I going to die out here?” Two things are strikingly obvious. One is that many of the people who need to keep working are the very same people who are at risk for homelessness; are living in overcrowded houses; or, in many cases, are experiencing homelessness. They can’t just Zoom into their jobs; they perform essential work: restaurant work, cleaning, and transit. They can’t afford to get sick, and yet they are some of the least protected and lowest-paid workers. So many honest and honorable Americans have been affected by the events of 2020. Left without food, water, shelter, or warm clothing... and the colder months are only exacerbating this issue. It requires a #humanitarian effort of epic proportion to solve this, and those of us with any fortune to take care and share with our brothers and sisters that so urgently need that love right now. That is why I'm letting you know of the need to help support the most impactful and honest humanitarian of our time, Sanat Buddha Maitreya Kumara, and his work to provide food and high quality clothing, blankets and shoes to those in need! My friends, my family, the time is now. The call is now. We need heroes to act. Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $50,000. Every little bit helps.

In May 2019, Buddha Maitreya the Christ and Tara started a daily food program from the Buddha Maitreya Soul Therapy Center in Omaha, NE. The 3 sangha members in service at the Omaha Center initially made 30 sandwiches and purchased bottled water daily, driving through Omaha to distribute to the homeless and those in need.

In September they increased the level of support being offered to include needed clothing, blankets, hygiene products, boots, hats and gloves. As we have developed relationships within the community we have also been able to help connect vulnerable individuals into housing, medical care and different areas of community support. The need is growing everyday! The cold is only increasing. The costs of operation continue to grow as the need increases.

Will you help us support feeding and clothing the needy? Every little bit helps!

We would greatly appreciate any wholesale contacts, donations, and grants that will help us help others through the Winter! Please visit the following link to see recommended clothing with purchase links for the program: https://madmimi.com/s/5edc811
Most of these items work for both men and women, and make a huge difference when sleeping outside or in a shelter which has limited resources. This is a worldwide charity supporting monasteries; refurbishing, clothing, medical care and food; Nepalese free medical clinics, earthquake relief and housing; Recognition and support for living saints. American Monastery offers sangha, refuge, and vibrational meditation healing tools for personal and planetary healing. This is the heart of healing for humanity and the entire planet. https://worldwidehumanitarian.com/2020/11/19/sanat-kumara/
