Buckhead Grand Real Water Event

On December 11, 2018, The Buckhead Grand had a pretty severe water event that really hit our building hard. It actually started with a unit fire. You may not know- our longtime family member and porter, Ousman, without any hesitation risked his life for us to put out that condo fire that night. It could have been so much more detrimental. Sprinklers went off, the aftermath was terrible, however, no pets or electronics were lost, and luckily with insurance, everything will be replaced or repaired!
This really starts to put things into perspective. We were just inconvenienced because of water.
Ousman was recently in Africa where he is from and visited several surrounding neighboring villages in the Gambia.
He has shown us a video of these communities and how they too have struggled with water.
Except, their struggle is not having to wait on an elevator to be fixed. They need clean water.
Ousman told us of a "borehole driller." A tool that can be purchased and installed for $2000 per village. This tool can provide CLEAN water FOREVER. We're going to raise the money to help 6!
Our Buckhead Grand community has a chance to give back- it takes a Village! We can raise this money and buy them this!
We have seen the power of this building, the resilience of our residents, It's our chance now.
In Ousman's honor -a min. of $5 donation will receive a Buckhead Grand Limited edition key chain! (1 per donation)
And Guffy's of Atlanta will give away a 500.00 gift certificate for the highest donation!
