Hello....
As many of you will know unfortunately Nick was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer at the beginning of this year. For those of you who don't know what stage 4 means it's also known as incurable, terminal, end stage or advanced cancer as it's no longer confined to his kidney. It's not what none of us were expecting or wanted but he's doing well at the moment and long may it continue. It's not the death sentence it once was and we remain hopeful for the future - whether that's 2 years or 20 years. But he has a few things on his bucket list and one of them is to visit Canada... That's where you lovely lot come in!
We are holding a charity day on 27th June at Woodstock it will be a day of music and fun.
We want to raise some money to go towards a trip to Canada and also to help some local charities.
It's also to celebrate my 50th... I can't think of anything better to do to celebrate than dancing with people we know and love.
This has been a life changing diagnosis for our family but I would say that it's definitely not all negative, we have grabbed life by the balls and we will continue to fill our days with as much as we can.
We don't need your sympathy but we would like some of your pennies
