Help Oyinbo Princess and Ebuka settle their future together ❤️
I have known Ebuka now for a number of years. We have been dating for almost three years and have made every effort to see each other regularly in Nigeria. We see each other usually once or twice a year - however it's extremely expensive so sometimes we have to manage video calls, which is so so hard.
We met on a dating site a number years ago and we started off as good friends. I travel to Nigeria regularly because I am in the Nigerian entertainment industry. This gave us the opportunity to meet in person. Instantly we had a very strong connection and as much as it was so exciting, it was also heartbreaking knowing the inevitable distance that will seperate us while apart. However love often leads and despite the fact we live in different countries, we were both wanting to make it work and agreed to give it a go.
After a number of meet ups and months spent in each other's company, it didn't take long for a spark to blossom.
After a few years as friends we decided to commit to a relationship as girlfriend and boyfriend at the beginning of 2022. I was completely made up being asked officially to be his woman! Through the ups and downs surrounding a long distance relationship, we have gone from strength to strength and have secured a happy, withstanding and loving relationship.
Every time I leave Ebuka, usually at the airport terminal- I cry and feel so sad. I spend weeks feeling alone and missing him, often crying myself to sleep. The weeks then drift into months before we can save the money to see each other again.
Years have gone by and we have managed the long distance to the best of our capabilities - however it's been extremely difficult. On 11th Decemeber 2023 Ebuka asked me to marry him. With our closest friends beside us, we got engaged, it was the best day of my life!
Throughout our relationship Ebuka has been running my outreach in Nigeria, giving food to people who are hungry, offering small financial tokens when possible, assisting with schooling fees, helping start up small businesses with capital or products and many more similar things.
More recently we have focused on a little buka, that we have built from scratch using tiktok coins received during lives online. From this little beginning we now have a fully working kitchen that Ebuka cooks in daily to continue giving food to those in need in the local area. We also have a games area with a snooker table, table tennis, dart board and chess board where children often have a free games weeks. This enables them to be off the street, offering them communication skills, team work and building relationships. We aim to keep them in a positive and safe environment, away from drugs, crimes and alcohol, especially those unable to be in school due to finances or family situations.
With all this now in place we want to focus on us, knowing we can still do the outreach with both of us in the United Kingdom. Over the years I have genuinely not put myself first but now the time has come where my happiness is so important.
Our only wish is to be able to be married and living together as a couple, building on our dreams and achieving our objectives. Both Ebuka and I want nothing more than to be together, however the costs involved is such a lot to do it alone.
Having support for us to be able to afford the initial Fiancé Visa, the Health Care Surcharge and flight would mean the absolute world to us. It would enable our dream to come true while we work hard to save whatever we can for when the time comes to renew the visa after six months.
The plan is for Ebuka to enter the United Kingdom and for us to have a wedding within the first six months, which is part of the visas requirements. Following that we would need to apply for a Spouse Visa for him to stay and be able to work, while we continue living our lives together as Mr & Mrs.
We would appreciate any support at all, and would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for assisting our dream. We have such great plans to continue helping in local communities around Nigeria and with Ebuka having the opportunity to work in the United Kingdom, we could afford to do much more than we already do.
Yes this is a request to help us achieve our personal goal of getting married and being together, but the bigger picture also holds hope of us being able to make bigger differences to young children's and adults lives in the future.
God bless you as you support us
