It is with a heavy heart that I on behalf of my sweet niece, Susan to share the sad news of the passing of her mother Juanita, my second mom, Juanita was a native San Franciscan, spending most of her years in Bernal Heights. There wasn’t a day that would go by that you wouldn’t see her and Susie power walking around the neighborhood. For those of you who knew her knows she was the Bingo Boss also known as the Mayor of Precita Park! She was one of the toughest 4’11” 100lb ladies I’ve ever known.

Biggest 49er fan, with a heart of gold.

It’s devastating to our family, as you can imagine. Juanita is no longer suffering and resting in peace and that warms our hearts.
