Support Annette's Journey to Stability

UPDATE: We hit the original goal! We’ve raised it to see if we can do life changing stuff for this family. We are overwhelmed by the support and want to see if we can get her enough money to put a down payment on a house and get her out of the apartment that she struggles to pay rent on. We want to see if we can get her emergency savings. Y’all are literally changing this family’s life!! We will be involved with getting her a newer vehicle. We don’t believe in brand new, so it’ll probably be 2-3 years old. We are going to get her out of that terrain. It’s not worth putting any money into. There will be an update video hopefully Tuesday night. She’s supposed to be at the shop on Tuesday at some point. We will let yall see the reaction.

As you may have seen in the video released, we are Royalty Auto Service, and we are trying to help a single mom, Annette, who needs a break. She came into our shop wanting a second opinion on if her 2010 GMC Terrain actually needed an engine as she was told by another shop. We got it in and took a look, and were pleasantly surprised that the vehicle was still running. Unfortunately, the check engine light is on with misfire and catalyst efficiency codes and there is blowby in the engine. The timing chain is also rattling. When we drove it we heard the loudest will bearing that may have ever been in the shop. This vehicle is falling apart.

She has a warranty that she paid $2000 for when she bought it 9 months ago for well over the retail price (Almost $15,000 when it's worth about $6,000 in good condition, of which this vehicle IS NOT!). But we got in touch with them and they said they wouldn't even cover the wheel bearing that's bad (ended up being two of them that had failed) because the engine needs to be replaced according to other shops. This is crazy because it's a safety item! Anyways, we got that taken care of along with a couple tires that had cords showing, so she is safe temporarily. Unfortunately though, the vehicle is about to fall apart. She needs new transportation. This vehicle is not worth investing into. We need to get her out of this and into something newer and more reliable.

She has 2 daughters, one that was going to college, but is now staying to work and help her mom pay the bills, and the other (10) that is going to elementary school. She can barely make her rent every month. She put $300 on this vehicle and after all of the interest would pay $21000 for it. Ridiculous! She needs a buffer. She needs to be able to pay her bills and get caught up where she isn't living paycheck to paycheck completely stressed out that she won't be able to have a place to stay. So that's a quick summary.

This woman hasn't asked for ANYTHING! She is extremely humble and we want to help her out. And that's why you are here. We appreciate anything you can do. It's a blessing for us to be able to bless her through all of you! All of our fans are so amazing and this is one of the many reasons that doing social media has been such an amazing thing! We are grateful and we know she will be as well!
