Brysons cancer battle

❤️Bryson’s Fight Continues- A Critical Update 7/7/25 ❤️
We want to thank everyone who has supported Bryson and family through this incredibly difficult journey. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers have meant the world.
Bryson has been fighting so hard, but sadly, the chemotherapy is no longer keeping up with the spread of the cancer. His little body has endured so much — including a recent fracture in his right shoulder. The bone has been weakened and disintegrated by the disease, making it brittle and vulnerable. He underwent his first round of radiation yesterday, in an effort to relieve the pain in that shoulder so he can hopefully begin to move it again.
Bryson has now been officially placed under palliative care. As you can imagine, this is a heartbreaking shift - but family are continuing to fight alongside him every step of the way.
Right now, he is undergoing immunotherapy, and we are anxiously awaiting results this Thursday. If it works, it could give more time — and more hope. If not, the only remaining options may be trial treatments. These are likely to be interstate or overseas, and extremely expensive.
Because of this, we are now shifting the purpose of this GoFundMe.

Originally, your donations helped cover the overwhelming costs of having a child in the hospital — things like travel, meals, accommodation, and essential care. Now, we are preparing to raise funds for potential life-saving treatment that could give Bryson another chance.
To reflect this urgent need, we’ve increased our fundraising goal from $10,000 to $70,000. This new target will help us explore every possible option - in the hope of giving Bryson more time with those who love him.
Please continue to share Bryson’s story. Every donation, message, and share truly makes a difference and means more than we can express.
With love and gratitude,
Cherie

Original post January 2025-
Hi, my name is Cherie, and I’m raising money for my niece and her son.

Help me to help an amazing mum focus on her sons and not have to worry about money
My niece Kim is the strongest person I know. She has been through more trauma than anyone should have to endure. And through everything she has always remained a beautiful soul with a huge heart. She has x2 beautiful boys and devotes her life to them. 3 weeks ago her life was turned upside down. She was at the hospital with her 1 year old son Bryson for what they thought were symptoms of a bad UTI. But instead her beautiful little boy was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. He has a large mass coming from his adrenal glands and scans have found 7 spots in total. A large mass, right femur, right arm, lymphnodes close to the large mass, spine, a spot on his chest and right orbital wall. He has had his first round of chemo and will have another 7 cycles. If the Neuroblastoma doesn't respond to the chemo as well as the medical professionals like, he will then change to high risk treatment which will include more intense chemo and more than 8 cycles.
Kim and Bryson have not left hospital for 3 weeks and already things like buying food at the cafeteria has chewed through her savings. Kim has never in her life asked me for anything. And I know it is hard for her to accept help from others, because usually she is the one helping everyone else. I know she only agreed to me setting this up, because for her it’s about Bryson. They have a huge battle ahead, and helping to take away the financial stress is huge. So please donate what you can.
