Several days ago, the lives of Joey’s three children Brynlee, Addison & Colton were turned upside down by an unexpected and heartbreaking event. Their dad, Joey, is currently in hospital, facing an uncertain and very difficult road ahead. While the details remain private with respect to the family, this has been an unimaginably hard time for his children and everyone who loves them.

Megan, the mother of Joey’s children, has been doing everything she can to keep life stable for them—making sure they feel safe, cared for, and supported—while also being a large supporter and advocate for Joey’s care. She has been stepping up in every way possible while being the steady rock for their kids as they navigate the start of a new school year and the weight of so many big emotions.
