Hi, guys my name is Panha one of my best mates Bryce has been suffering with a kidney condition called Chronic Renal Failure all his life. On 22nd October 2022 Bryce’s condition worsened , the doctor had prescribed him with the steroid Prednisolone but had him on it for too long at too high of a dosage which caused hypertension resulting in blindness in his right eye, his body to swell up with fluid retention and a large amount of steroid induced acne, partial memory loss and acute constant tiredness, all have this has made life very hard and made even the most simple activities almost impossible. Due to the loss of vision Bryce is restricted from job opportunities in which he was previously qualified and employed for (heavy machinery) and is unable to work in many jobs. And unfortunately due to the help of many doctors they have caused Bryce many other issues along the way that have depleted his health due to lack of care and research .He has also remained on peritoneal dialysis and now haemodialysis since then, the peritoneal dialysis for the first year (70 hours a week) and on hemo dialysis since last year/this year 15 hours a week . On the 4th of June 2024 Bryce will be going through surgery getting a replacement kidney with the donor being his widowed mother. For over 2 months Bryce and his mum won’t be able to work and possibly even longer for Bryce will need to find a job that is suitable to his new abilities. It’s very hard to see someone who is kind and caring as Bryce to go through something like this. The fund will be a tremendous help to Bryce and his family has it will help to support him and his mother through the healing stage and hopefully a kickstart to a better life.
