"Good fathers make good sons."
Anyone that knows Bryan knows that he goes above and beyond for everyone when needed, without thinking twice. Yet even with all that he does for others, nothing comes before his boys: Knox and Nolan. In Bryan's life, it is God, family (his boys), everyone else, work, and then maybe himself. He is a great man and an even better father.
I, personally, have had the pleasure of calling this man my friend; however, my wife and I consider him and his boys as family, and family shows up for each other. This man has been on a long journey with no end in sight. Bryan is fighting for his right to be a part of his sons' lives and, for the last year, this man has poured his heart, soul, and money into a broken system. Despite prolonged court proceedings, Knox and Nolan mean the world to Bryan and he is determined to get even the time with him that he has already been awarded but continues to be interfered with. In order to do this, Bryan is currently working through the process to take out a personal loan just to keep up with the constant investments required financially--all while still taking care of and making sure child support is provided, not to mention the cost of living and providing for himself. He takes last and everything he has goes to his boys.
A few of us decided that we'd love to come together to help him fight to be present in his sons' lives, and we wanted to invite anyone that wants to contribute to be a part as well. Most of you know that Bryan is not the person to ask for help--he'd rather be helping everyone else--so he doesn't even know about this (it helps that he's not on Facebook either).
If you'd like to participate in giving to and/or praying for the Mackley boys, that would be much appreciated! Bryan truly believes in the power of prayer and is beyond grateful for and overwhelmed by the amount of people supporting his family in this way.
Thanks for taking the time to read this today. God bless!
