Hi everyone, our names are Ricardo, Amit, Jocelyn, Marina, and Jesse. We are starting a GoFundMe page to raise money for an incredible cause in our hearts. At Hunger Free Americas, we know that women and children are disproportionately impacted by hunger, and according to the USDA, female-headed households with children nationwide had a food insecurity rate of 33—1% in 2022, nearly triple the overall rate of 12.8%. Of the 15 thousand calls we received through our national hunger hotline in 2023. 77% were from women. Inflation has made food so expensive, and it's getting worse every day for families and contributing to underfed working-class families. And now, with minimum wage laws being imposed on food costs, it's even more difficult for low-income families to afford food. You can help us make a difference in these kids' and families lives today, by donating to our charity and helping end the hunger of millions of families in need today.
