Help Ashley’s Family Support Baby Gracie’s Medical Journey
Hi, my name is Michelle, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my dear friend Ashley and her incredible daughter, Gracie.
Miss Gracie Noel McGee was born on June 21, 2019, far too early at 24 weeks and 6 days. She arrived via C-section weighing just 1 lb 10 oz, already fighting for her life. Gracie spent seven long months in the NICU before she was finally able to come home.
During her NICU stay, Gracie endured more than any baby ever should. On September 8, 2019, she underwent a major surgery—an ileocecal resection and jejunostomy, during which nearly 50% of her small bowel was removed. The procedure was reversed on October 31, 2019, but the challenges didn’t stop there. Gracie was later diagnosed with Short Bowel Syndrome and Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC).
In January 2020, Gracie had a G-tube placed to help with feeding. After finally leaving the NICU at seven months old, she continued to struggle with weight gain and growth. Eventually, she was diagnosed with failure to thrive.
This sweet little girl has been fighting her entire life. Through every surgery, every hospital stay, and every setback, her parents have been 100% by her side, never giving up on her for a second. Unfortunately, the medical bills, travel costs, time off work, and ongoing care have continued to pile up, and the financial burden has become overwhelming.
If you are able to help—whether by donating or simply sharing this page—it would mean the world to Ashley, her family, and especially to Gracie. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ease the stress so her parents can focus on what matters most: their daughter’s health and healing.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, prayers, and support.
