We are reaching out to our community to help us raise funds through a GoFundMe campaign to repair the "Brown Is Beautiful" mural at the park, which was recently vandalized, for a second time. This mural was culturally motivated, representing pride, resilience, and beauty in our community. All the artists worked incredibly hard on it. We all fought a long hard fight to get it approved, because it reflects our shared cultural values. The money raised will go toward repainting the mural, including all necessary paint and equipment. Additionally, we are offering a reward to anyone who helps identify those responsible for the vandalism. Every contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference.
