Brown Delta Phi Against Social Injustice
Donation protected
In the midst of a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic, men, women, and children have risked their lives to protest the myriad of inequalities that have come to define the United States of America: racism, systematic oppression, police brutality, and more. This is a commendable, courageous act, yet thousands of Americans have been unlawfully locked up for exercising their right to protest. The brothers of Delta Phi hope to support those in jails across the nation by supporting bail funds and activist groups that work in concert with front-line legal advocacy groups. Furthermore, we denounce the racism that has defined our nation for centuries, and aim to be a part of a bipartisan, multiracial, socioeconomically diverse coalition of young people that will destroy the discriminatory practices of our nation. We are a group founded on brotherhood, teamwork, community, and respect; we are a community that will not back down in the face of injustice.
