Hello. For the past six years we have been collecting donations used towards fishing poles and gear in honor of my late father David “Brookie” Tomko Sr. Thanks to everyone’s generosity we have given away about 300 poles plus hooks, etc to kids. My father never missed an opportunity to mentor, teach, or congratulate a kid when they caught one, or console when “the big one” got away. AND, he never missed a chance to give my pole away to a kid that didn’t have one! Which gave me the idea after his passing to continue to give poles away. I want to thank everyone over the years who helped make a child smile and get to enjoy the healthy outdoors. This will more than likely be my last year doing this so thanks again to everyone’s kindness.
