In September of 2023, Brooke Lynn Merrin-White suffered a massive brain bleed, from a ruptured AVM, that left her in critical condition.

This unexpected and unfortunate incident has been a devastating and life-altering experience for Brooke, for her husband, for her beautiful daughter, and for her family and friends.

Brooke is a talented physician’s assistant, a devoted and loving mama, a best friend and wife to her husband Ryan, and an amazing friend to many. She enjoys hiking, fitness, and spending time with her family and friends.

Brooke was recently released from an acute care rehabilitation facility in California, into the care of her husband. Brooke’s long term recovery process rests on her ability to continue receiving extensive daily therapies for which insurance is now cutting back on paying. Her family and friends humbly ask for help to continue allowing her to get the care she needs to continue defying odds and making miraculous progress.

Brooke and her husband Ryan were planning on relocating closer to home before this devastating accident. Our hope is that Brooke can become stable enough to return home to Ohio, where she belongs, near her friends and family who will be able to better care for her.
