Donate $1 to Employ Bronx Youth

One Million. One Dollar. One Summer of Peace

For too long we have been fed up with the gun violence and lack of opportunity harming our children and youth in the Bronx. Community for a Cause is initiating the Kings and Queens Clergy Coalition to rise up to the challenge to take better care of our kids.

We are calling on the community to contribute to the EMERGENCY WORKFORCE FUND with our goal set at $1,000,000. This will allow us to employ at least 1000 youth for summer jobs that invest in the Bronx Community!

There are almost 1.5 million people in the Bronx. If one million donated just $1 each, we can have a way to keep youth off the streets, put money in their pocket, and have them work towards community projects that improve the quality of living in their own neighborhoods.

Did you know that studies show that giving summer jobs to youth can decrease violent crime up to 43%? Let's do our part to make this happen in our communities today by donating what we can and recruiting a friend to do the same!
