Bronx was born in the spring of 2018 and initially adopted by another family around April of that year. However, due to financial hardship, they were unable to care for him. In May 2018, my family adopted Bronx into our home—a blessing when we were grieving the loss of our beloved brindle pit bull, who had passed away from cancer at just four years old. Bronx joined a household filled with love. Bronx isn’t just a pet—he’s a source of comfort, joy, and unconditional love. He came into our lives when we needed healing, and filled a space that felt impossible to fill. His loyalty, goofy personality, and gentle nature have bonded us in ways only a dog can. He’s woven into our daily lives, our routines, and our hearts. He knows when you are down and provides sincere love towards you. In October 2024 Bronx was diagnosed with bone cancer on his back leg. Since then we have him on a regime of pain kills and transfusions do slow the process of spreading. Unfortunately as of 01OCT25 the cancer is spreading up his leg while eating away his bone. The vet believes the best way to save his life would be amputation of the leg. Bronx is still full of life and it breaks our hearts. Our Family is in financial need to help Bronx get his amputation, we live pay check to pay check and the past years vet bills have already made life difficult to manage and with bills piling up I don't know if we can afford to pay for his amputation. Any help would be great.
