Donation protected
The Broadmoor Bluffs Neighborhood Association is organized as a non-profit in Colorado to be a voice for the neighborhood to interface with neighbors, Home Owners Associations, media, city officials, developers, property managers to keep the neighborhood a safe and beautiful place to live!
The BBNA is holding a donations rally to pay our attorney to investigate our case for an injunction against the workforce/low-income apartment complex to be built off Broadmoor Bluffs Drive, behind the Safeway, near Pinon Valley Elementary and Cheyenne Mountain Elementary Schools. If you haven't watched the March 13th City Council meeting, you should - there is a political agenda with this council, and it is not lawabiding!
We are concerned with the location of this 60-unit low-income project -- on an unstable landslide area in a hillside overlay in-fill lot, just .25 miles from the FEMA landslide buyout area on Broadmoor Bluffs Dr. The only ingress/egress is a private truck delivery route (easement) used by Safeway & the liquor store for deliveries. Additionally, there are no sidewalks to comply with federal ADA regulations. It seems we are the ONLY ones who care about safety. When our new neighbors move in, we want to ensure they are safe, just as we want our own families to be safe!
