Hi everyone! We're on a mission to assist those in our community who have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 virus and need your help!
We are starting this fund and have chosen two charities to benefit from the proceeds. We've been deeply touched by healthcare workers and first responders putting their lives on the line and have also noticed the hit that local restaurants are taking. That's where I Got You KC comes in! They purchase meals from local restaurants and provide them to healthcare workers and first responders putting their lives at risk for the benefit of others. (www.igotyoukc.com)
The second charity is Kansas City's Regional COVID-19 Response Fund. They help individuals in need by granting money for housing, food, and access to healthcare. (www.growyourgiving.org/covid)
As we mentioned in the video, if you are unable to support financially, there are plenty of other ways to help out! Below you can find links to organizations that can benefit from your time and other ways to help our community.

-Write encouraging messages in chalk on your sidewalk.
-Set up FaceTime and Skype sessions with relatives or acquaintances in assisted living facilities.
