On May 20th 2021 I received a call from my brother who was hysterical. His child, his baby had been shot. That’s all we knew. We rushed to the hospital to find out  that he had died from a gunshot wound to the neck.

Britten was an amazing kid. Had a smile that could light up a room. If you needed something he would be the first to help. He was such  an old soul. You would never guess he was only 16. He was so kind and smart. Loved by so many. 

We were not prepared for this. No one ever thinks this will be their family member, their child. We are asking the public for help. Donations for the funeral, shares if you can or can’t  donate and please if you know anything about the case report it to the Freeport Police Department. We need justice. We need the shootings to stop. How many more children have to die before enough is enough? Thank you so much.
