SVC COMMUNITY! One of our own needs our help!
Beloved Brittany Barclay and her children are in need of assistance. As many of you know, Brittany is a stay-at-home mother of three. Recently, her relationship has dissolved, at no fault of her own. Marred by infidelity and abandonment, Brittany is currently trying to recover mentally, emotionally, financially and spiritually from the breakdown of her marriage.
As she is currently receiving no support from the father of her children and as he cut her off from marital funds, I’d like to appeal to our community to rally around her and help her during this time of need. COVID-19 has impeded her ability to return to work as she has no access to childcare and since she has spent an extended period of time out of the workforce, this complicates matters further.
Brittany is in need of immediate financial relief. She is currently facing steep expenses relating to legal fees and a large mechanic bill for her vehicle. We are looking to raise $1500 which will help keep her afloat until next month. Ofcourse, we would love to exceed that amount but we understand that everyone in our community is experiencing financial difficulties at this time.
No amount is too small. We hope you can assist. Please keep Brittany and her children in your thoughts as they navigate this loss and devastation.
Thank you.
UPDATE! We exceeded our goal in less than 24 hours. You guys are amazing! Thank you.
GoFundMe asked that I update our fundraiser to include the following information:
My name is Kaitlyn and I currently reside in Buffalo, NY. Brittany and I have been friends for over 10 years and we met as students of Southern Vermont College. These funds will go directly to her, as she will be the beneficiary of this GoFundMe fundraiser.
