Last year, I had the life-changing opportunity to travel to Kenya and spend two weeks in the villages. It’s truly one of the most beautiful places in the world — not just because of the land, but because of the incredible people. During my time there, I saw firsthand the hardships children face, especially those living on the streets or in orphanages. This year, I’m returning in December with a mission: to send as many of these children as possible to boarding school.

Boarding school in Kenya provides so much more than just an education. It gives children a clean uniform, a mattress, and three meals a day — basic needs that so many go without. I know exactly what’s needed and where help will go the furthest.

This time, my husband Brendan will be joining me. He’ll be bringing futbol gear and organizing matches in the slums and villages — using the power of sport to uplift, connect, and inspire the kids we meet.
