Hey!! My names Whitney Ashby & I’m trying to fundraise for one of the momma’s that has always helped me when my own child was sick & is now dealing with a unexpected genetic disorder in her newborn baby girl. Read the story below about Brittany, Josh, Amelia & new sweet baby girl Bellamy! Brittany & Josh would never ask for anything or expect anything, even in moments of unexpected need as the one they’re currently experiencing. Any amount raised that can go to the family will be greatly appreciated. If you cannot give any, please say prayers for Bellamy, her big sissy, and her momma and daddy as they navigate this journey to getting baby girl healthy and healed! “Bellamy has been admitted to ACH NICU. She has a very, very rare genetic disease called Galactosemia. Her body does not have the ability to break down the galactose which unfortunately is the sugar in all formulas.. The even worse part to not knowing your baby has the condition, you give them formula or breast milk not realizing you’re killing them. It causes the liver to shut down along with many more terrible things. Her liver labs are already critical, but they’re hopeful with other corrective action they will get better. Bellamy is stable and already receiving amazing care and hoping to get some more answers and some positive outcomes from our treatment. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Keep our sweet Amelia in your thoughts too. This is her first time being without mama and daddy and she’s in shock too. Thank you everyone for checking on us and just continue to send us your love. This is a nightmare we would do anything to wake up from. ❤️“
