Let me tell you a story about my beautiful daughter Brittney Rose Serpa.
Brittney was so full of life. In our wildest dreams we would have never thought that this vivacious, happy, full of life, social butterfly, would have only lived just past her 18th birthday.
In 2012, Brittney was just about to graduate one year early from high school and had been accepted to Ole Miss for the fall. She was over the moon about going to college and going through sorority rush. Brittney, Britt as we called her always entered a room by signing at the top of her lungs. Always the same song, Whitney Houston, "I will always love you". My husband used to tell her that she was going to be on American Idol one day. Only problem is that she could not sing. She knew that but nothing but that never bothered her. Nothing at all. Old dampen the spirt of this bubbly young girl.
