This is Brinley. She was born February 23, 2005 and was the fattest, happiest and sweetest baby going. She is a talented artist, loves to read and listen to music. Brinley, her mom Jessica, her step dad Wes and her entire family’s world got flipped upside down when her mom got a call from her gym teacher saying that Brinley had collapsed in gym class. Brinley was taken to hospital and after a bunch of tests, they found something wrong with Brin’s heart and thought they had a diagnosis. However, upon more tests and a long hospital admission, they found that Brinley has Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. This is a progressive and deadly disease that will shorten Brin’s life. Her mom has had to leave her job and start this journey of their “new normal” of appointments and a life of hospital admissions, tests and constant worrying. This page is to help the family with expenses, lost income and to help take one stress off their plate. It will also help us send Brinleys grandmother with them to a PH conferences for kids. The most important thing is being able to give Brinley everything she deserves while she starts her new journey and fights PH every day as nothing will ever be the same for her again.
