I've been on a long, quiet journey as a single mom since a difficult separation 5 years ago. Since then, I've worked hard to make sure we have a stable and safe life here in RC. As many know, I am an open book and can explain backstory. It was something I had to learn to speak more on through time.

My youngest of 3, Liam, is 8 yrs old and autistic (level 1). He loves his routines and figuring out how things work. Stability and predictability help him feel safe and connected. He's a little man that enjoys his STEM board aka "projects" and the human body.

Ava, my 10 yr old. She is deeply nurturing, my mini-me in so many ways, and enjoys playing the viola and drawing, and loves all the trends and challenges. We dream together, plan together, and laugh at our silly things we do together.

"JUNE. 21." is a day they together are counting down. Liam knows this as the day Mommy comes to get us. Ava knows this as the day they get to come home to Mommy, their big brother, and cat (Monroe Moon).

As we approach custody court in August, I have to travel to bring them home for summer. This has been an emotional and financially difficult season. Any support, sharing, or kindness means more than I can ever put into words.
