Bringing Sylvia Home: Support her move and school supplies
Donation protected
UPDATE:
On the morning of my mom and sister’s arrival, we found out that our dad had passed away. This has been a deeply difficult year for our family, and we’ve now lost an incredibly important person in our lives. Any funds will go towards helping my mom with funeral costs, legal fees, and bills while she’s out of work.
Thank you to our amazing friends and family. We couldn’t do any of this without you.
Dear friends,
Over the past six months, our family has needed to move back to our hometown in Brazil. This transition has been particularly tough as our parents moved in December, while the three of us siblings remained behind in different cities.
My younger sister, Sylvia, completed her sophomore year of high school while staying with family friends, and now it’s her turn to join our parents in Brazil. We need your help to make this possible.
Although we are all healthy and safe, the financial burden of an international move is overwhelming. The expenses include not only travel costs but also the necessities that Sylvia will need to continue her education.
We're hoping for donations to help Sylvia pay for the checked suitcases that she will need to take her belongings, and the essential school supplies she will need in the fall. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in easing this transition for our family.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this challenging time. Your support means the world to us.
With love,
Ana
