About Us

We are Squeeky Clean Scarborough Ltd, a local Scarborough company that has always taken pride in giving back to our community.

In 2018–2019, we voluntarily stepped in to help revitalise Scarborough’s town centre and seafront. Even without council backing, our work was recognised by MP Robert Goodwill for transforming neglected areas. The entire project was self-funded, costing £8,000–£10,000, with all labour provided by our own team.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, we stepped up again. We sanitised Scarborough, Whitby, and Filey to help protect our communities. This too was self-funded at a cost of £5,000–£8,000, and we were honoured to receive a Covid Community Award for our efforts.

Why We’re Fundraising

With the rising cost of living and increased pressures across the region, more people — including vulnerable individuals and those sleeping rough — need support. We’re raising funds so we can continue our community work and expand the help we provide to those who are struggling.

How Your Donations Help

Every donation goes directly towards providing real, practical support, including:

Supplies for the homeless

Food, drinks, and warm essentials

Tents, blankets, clothing, and hygiene items

Emergency hotel and accommodation funding

Travel and fuel expenses

Vehicle running costs

Ongoing community support work

We also welcome suggestions for areas, individuals, or groups who may need help. Alongside our regular community work, we’re committed to doing more — especially for those facing hardship right now.

And this winter, if support for the homeless falls short, we’ll step in where we can. A portion of all funds will go towards providing food, warmth, and essential supplies for people sleeping rough during the coldest months.
