I live in Hutto Texas, and I give toys to kids in my community, and it’s something that brings me so much joy. I carry a bag with me everywhere I go, and whenever I hear a child nearby, I offer them a toy. Seeing their faces light up is the best feeling in the world. I am blind and use a seeing eye cane, so I know what it’s like to face challenges. My only source of income is Social Security Disability, and with the rising costs of food, rent, and other essentials, it’s become harder and harder to afford toys for the kids. There have been times when I’ve gone without things I need just so I can keep bringing smiles to children in my neighborhood.

This mission is deeply personal to me. As a child, I was abused and ignored, and I never want another child to feel the pain and loneliness that I did. Every child deserves to feel important and loved, and giving them a small gift can make a big difference in their day. All funds raised will go directly to buying toys for kids in my community. Any support from my community would mean so much to me and would enable me to continue spreading kindness and joy, one toy at a time.
