Bringing Joy and Hope to the Children of Sarnelli House
Donation protected
During our recent trip to Don Wai, a quiet village in Nong Khai, Thailand, we—Pew, Veronica, and Pew’s family—took time to honor the memory of Pew’s grandmother, who passed away 100 days prior. Her final resting place lies in a peaceful corner of the countryside, surrounded by nature and serenity.
But just beside that sacred place, we discovered something unexpected—Sarnelli House, a home and sanctuary for over 130 children, many of whom are orphaned, disability or living with HIV/AIDS. Moved by this discovery, we couldn’t just walk away. That day, we returned with ice cream, snacks, and sweet treats, a small gesture that turned into something far greater.
The look on those children’s faces—pure joy, laughter, and light in their eyes—was something we’ll never forget. It was as if, for a moment, time stood still. You could see what love looks like in its simplest, most genuine form.
But beneath the smiles, we also came to understand the deeper needs of this community. These children require medicine, emotional support, and access to education so they can grow into confident, capable adults and contribute to society.
That’s why we’ve decided to take the next step—to raise funds to support Sarnelli House and the remarkable work they do every single day.
100% of your donation will go directly to Sarnelli House.
They will use the funds where they are needed most—whether that’s buying medication, funding school tuition, or simply ensuring that each child sleeps with a full stomach and a peaceful heart.
About Sarnelli House
Sarnelli House, led by Fr. Mike Shea, serves as both a home and healing center for children affected by HIV/AIDS and abandonment. It operates several houses divided by age and gender, including the House of Hope for toddlers. Their mission is simple, yet profound:
To provide a safe, loving home and meet every child’s basic needs
To ensure access to proper healthcare and HIV treatment
To support education and vocational training
To foster values of love, sharing, forgiveness, and responsibility
We believe in this mission, and we’ve seen the joy and resilience in these children’s eyes. Now we’re inviting you to be part of their story, too.
No donation is too small. Every bit brings hope. Every bit brings light.
Thank you for helping us share love beyond borders.
With gratitude,
Veronica, Pew and his Family
