Bringing Hope to the Navajo Nation
Donation protected
During my spring break this year, March 8 - 14, 1 will be part of a team of Vanderbilt Athletes serving in the Navajo Nation of New Mexico. We are excited to be able to use our gifts and experience in sport to minister to the children on the reservation, as well as serving the community completing needed work projects. Following our time serving, we will finish our trip on a spiritual formation retreat in Zion National Park.
The people in the Navajo community are desperately in need of Jesus and spiritual direction. Many are in trouble, facing huge drug and alcohol addiction issues, family disintegration, and incredibly high suicide rates.
There are two ways that you can join in this ministry with me as I prepare to serve the Navajo Nation:
1. Pray for us. Please ask God to give my team safe travel, caring and generous hearts, and the right words to minister with. Your prayers are crucial for this trip
2. Offer financial support. If you feel called to support the work God is doing in New Mexico, please prayerfully consider providing a donation to my Go Fund Me. Your support will enable me to participate in this exciting opportunity.
Taking part in a mission trip is an incredible spiritual experience. I am very excited to be a part of the work serving the Navajo people, to grow in my faith, and to share those experiences with you when I return. Thank you so much for considering supporting me through prayer and/or a financial gift.
