I’m setting up this GoFundMe for my mom Romelda, because she has a huge heart and a big dream, but she can’t do it all alone. She recently returned to her hometown of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and saw firsthand how many elderly neighbors are struggling after Hurricane Melissa. Inspired by the kindness of her own family—especially her grandmother, who was a pillar of the community—she’s now determined to help the elderly neighbors who have no one else to turn to.

She wants to do everything she can, but she can’t do it all financially on her own. That’s why we’re reaching out for a little support.
