My name is Muoma, and I have been a charity volunteer for over six years. I’ve worked with different causes to bring help and hope to those in need, but recently, something struck me deeper than ever.
WHAT'S HAPPENING?
A surge of violent attacks on Christian Communities is sweeping across Nigeria, especially in the middle belt and northern regions. Armed groups are invading villages, killing civilians, burning churches, and displacing thousands.
In the past few months, I’ve seen heartbreaking videos from my home country, Nigeria. Mothers crying over their children, fathers mourning their families, and young ones weeping for loved ones lost.
I’ve seen Christians persecuted for their faith, homes destroyed, and families displaced with nothing left but hope in God.
Each story broke my heart a little more. And somewhere between the tears and prayers, I knew I couldn’t just watch anymore. I had to go.
So, in 2 weeks, I’ll be traveling back to Nigeria on a personal mission to help feed the hungry, support displaced families, and bring comfort and faith to persecuted Christians and vulnerable children…as many as I can reach.
I don’t have a large organization behind me; just a willing heart, faith, and with your kindness, we can make this possible by touching lives.
While this mission began from a personal burden to help, I understand that the need is far greater than one person can handle alone. To make sure every donation reaches the people who need it most, I plan to work in collaboration with trusted local charities and humanitarian networks in Nigeria. These partnerships will help deliver food, shelter, and relief items safely and effectively to families in affected communities.
THE REALITY ON GROUND
Across parts of Nigeria, families are suffering greatly due to persecution and crisis:
• Children are hungry and sleeping in the open.
• Parents are desperate to feed and protect their loved ones.
• Homes have been burned, faith tested, and hope shaken.
Yet even in their pain, they still believe. They still sing. They still pray that help will come but with tears in their eyes and aches in their heart.
