As a friend, all I have wanted is to help Kasey and Ricky in some way. There is nothing I can do to help with their loss or their pain from losing their sweet Remy; but my prayer is for this page to reach far and wide to help them adopt a baby in his honor. Please read their story below and consider helping them reach their goal to Bring Home Baby Sierra.
Through the struggle and the loss, we have found ourselves longing more than ever to have a child of our own earth side. As a teacher and a coach, we have dedicated our lives to nurturing children in their growth and development. Having Remy only confirmed what we desire, we want to grow our family. I think every couple anxiously awaiting their first child wonders if they’re ready for the sleepless nights, the worry of bringing a life into the world, and the excitement for their future. What no parent anticipates is two miscarriages and the loss of a baby at 25 weeks. It’s hard to wrap your mind around delivering your baby boy, and not bringing him home. By now, if you’ve been following our story, you know about Remick Krew. The pain, the sadness, and the love we felt all at once is something we can never adequately put into words. When we held Remy in our arms, we felt the unconditional love a child forever holds in your heart and as we left the hospital, we both knew we wanted to adopt a baby in Remy’s honor. Remy will always be a part of our story, and our inspiration.
