We just found out our Youcaring page was gone... although that's sad news luckily we saved all the updates we had posted.
This will be our new page for information on our adoption and a place where you can help if you feel led to help us reach our goals to be able to bring our little girl home and cover all of her needs.
As we are in the final 6 months we are quickly learning that prices increase and unplanned expenses come up. Since being matched last week we wrote the biggest check I've ever wrote, found out we have to update our home study just to change a 3 to a 4, have to pay an International Pediatrician to go over our daughters records out of pocket since she isnt on our insurance and priced travel expenses which have gone up significantly since we started this process 5 years ago. On top of that we are facing the reality that we will be without our salaries for upwards of 8 weeks as we have to travel for two weeks and then get to spend quality time at home as we try to comfort our new daughter through her changes.
For that reason we are seeking help. We have had 2 fundraisers in the past and our goal was always to make our fundraisers something more than just giving, we want supporters to get something more out of it. If you have any fun fundraising ideas please let us know. I love to build things and carve fun stuff so I'm willing to offer my time if you would like to commission my services. If nothing else please continue to pray! God is good and we know He will provide the way.
