In Loving Memory of Filmon Teklai,

February 1, 1984 – July 3, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Filly, who departed this life unexpectedly on July 3, 2025 at his home Thailand where he lived for work. He was 41 years old.

Filly was known for being hardworking, his adventurous spirit, generous heart, and unwavering kindness. He touched the lives of many through his vibrant personality, deep compassion, and love for culture and travel. Though far from home in Asia the last couple years, he remained close to the hearts of those who loved him.

Our family is currently navigating the difficult process of bringing him back home from his home in Thailand to Oakland so we can lay him to rest with the dignity and love he deserves. We are reaching out to our community, friends, and extended family for support during this challenging time.

Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us. Donations will go directly toward the costs of transportation from Asia, funeral arrangements, and honoring his memory.

Filly will forever be missed and lovingly remembered.
