This Ramadan The EASE Foundation appeals to you to raise funds for the needy in Dallas-Fort Worth area

Zakat & Fitrah, Cash/Cheque Distribution Drive:

SubhanAllah, we have entered the last ten days of Ramadan, marking the final phase of our Ramadan initiative: "Zakat & Fitrah Distribution".

In previous years, the Ease Foundation has been honored to distribute Fitrah funds to families in need and to elderly & disabled individuals, while also serving as an intermediary to deliver Fitrah contributions collected from Masajids to those who truly deserve it.

In 2024, we were able to distribute $15,000 to 100 families, and we intend to continue this vital service to support our community. To ensure smooth distribution, we kindly request that Fitrah payments be made as early as possible. The Fitrah amount for this year is $12 per person. The Fitrah funds will be distributed during the last three days of Ramadan.

Note: Please remember to mention "Fitrah" in the memo when making your donation.

PS: We are also collecting zakat money which will be separately distributed.

Single mothers rent/debt help - (zakat eligible) Target $10K

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever grants respite to one in a difficult debt, he will have a reward of charity for each day. Whoever grants him respite after payment is due, he will have the like of it in charity for each day.”

I am reaching out to bring to your attention that Ease Foundation intends to help out single moms who are 100% zakat eligible clear their debt, pay their rent and pay their medical bills.

Cases are increasing so is the need for funds. So far we have a need for $10,000 to provide them some help to ease of their financial burden.

Their stories are very depressing yet gives us a deep message “which of your Lords favors will you deny?”

Last year EASE helped families who had piled up debt due to medical Emergencies and non-payment of rent, clear their debt by negotiating with the debt collectors and paying off the reduced debt directly to the agencies. Upon further research it became apparent that debt clearance is a huge need of many struggling families.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION UPDATE:

We have identified 50 families to deliver the food boxes to. These families are either recent refugees to the USA, or have limited to no food stamps.

The average cost of each box is $100 and it will contain halal meat and other food items.

The initial target is 50 boxes and the total cost of this phase will be $5000 and it will be distributed next week. $1500 more to go for the food drive.

EASE is a Dallas based 501c3 which has been operating in the DFW metropolis for the past 3 years. Over the course of these 3 years EASE has benefitted several needy individuals and families meet their basic necessities including rental help for single mothers, groceries and home essentials for the new incoming refugee families, debt clearance for struggling single mother families, Zakat distribution, Fitra distribution, etc.

Let's be amongst those who feed underprivileged fasting families & aid them in this special month.

3. Debt Clearance aid in Ramadan - Target $5,000 (zakat eligible)

4. Cash Help for the Disabled & Elderly in Ramadan - Target $5,000 (zakat eligible)

5. Fitrah Drive $12/person in Ramadan
